Art, for me, is more than mere communication. It is more than the visual adjunct to a primarily word-based transmission of data. Beauty has a place in my world- and this can be found in drawing out that which is special and unique in each of us and opening and presenting it in a way that can be experienced by everyone; more than in just the "reading" of it, but on a visceral level as well.
