THE ELEGY SERIES IS MEANT TO ADDRESS, THROUGH ALLEGORY, THE NARROW AND EVERY CHANGING SOCIAL IMPERATIVE OF CONTEMPORARY ART, AND ITS OVERRELIANCE ON NARRATIVE WORD BASED SYSTEMS, OFTEN AT THE EXPENSE OF FORMAL EXCELLENCE AND THE DEVELOPMENTAL LEAPS THAT CAN BE MADE THOUGH THE PURSUIT OF FORMAL EXCELLENCE AND PLUMBING THE COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUSNESS. IT IS A FUNERARY POEM, AN HOMAGE TO WHAT HAS PASSED AND A WISTFUL MEMORY OF THE SAME.
